Peppermint Bark Granola

Close your eyes and imagine: mint chocolate granola mixed with pieces of crunchy holiday bark. Wish ‘good tidings’ to Peppermint Bark.

First popularized by Williams And Sonoma in the 1990s, bark postdates Christmas classics like mince pies, eggnog, the yuletide log and—most certainly—‘figgy pudding’.

Take a brittle milk chocolate base. Add swirls of white chocolate; a dusting of peppermint—then smash with a kitchen mallet. Next—in a separate bowl—assemble your granola with cocoa, crushed candy canes, cacao nibs and bake until exceedingly crunchy. Now combine both delicacies.
