Invented by soda fountain operators in the 1800s to bypass “blue laws”, this month’s flavor is inspired by a true summer indulgence: the Ice-cream Sundae.

Take a scoop of creamy ice-cream. Add chunks juicy mango and piquant pineapple. Mix-in crushed waffle cones and coconut. Sprinkle some swaying palm trees and an orange sunset along with a drizzle of sticky puree and notes of vanilla.

And after the wettest Memorial Day Weekend in eight decades—this granola is pure escapism in a bowl.
