Black & White

I have been thinking about this granola concept forever. 

Make two different recipes separately. Then add them into the same bag together. One white chocolate. One dark chocolate. I am calling this month’s drop: Black and White.

Walk around New York with an old-fashioned camera. Capture snapshots of the city like monochrome postcards mailed to you from long ago. 

With Thanksgiving around the corner, I  wanted to make a treat that also felt timeless. And the Black and White cookie has stood on the city’s deli counters for over a century—a symbol of contrasts.

So I combined white chocolate chunks with almonds in one recipe. And dark chocolate, cacao and cashews in the other.  Different tastes and textures juxtaposed. Black and white in name but—like New York—contrasting perspectives, beliefs and flavors in reality. And did I mention it's also crunchy……?
