Yuzu Panna Cotta

Source the most distinctive yuzu from Japan. Then combine with an iconic Italian dessert. With soft and creamy notes of mandarin and grapefruit— September’s flavor is Yuzu Panna Cotta.

Growing wild in Tibet, yuzu was introduced to Japan during the Tang Dynasty—twelve hundred years ago. Quintessence of drinks, desserts, hot sauces and even—during the winter solstice—steaming baths—we partnered with Yuzuco to import finest fruit.

Then we added panna cotta... Literally meaning “cooked cream”, this subtle treat is perfect contrast to an exotic citrus. Mix in oats, coconut, candied yuzu peel and a splash of Yuzuco’s yuzu juice and fuse the best of Rome and the Rising Sun.
