Pear and Blackberry Cider Granola

Across New York State—from Hudson Valley to Lake Champlain—orchards are busy harvesting and hard-pressing. Because October is ‘cider season’.

But there is more to autumn than apples. And this Fall, I wanted to give cider a wildly fresh and verdant twist. So I added diced pears and humongous blackberries. With organic cider powder, cinnamon and vanilla, ‘upstate’ orchard meets Adirondack wilderness (minus the black bears) in this month’s flavor.
